UTAG RESCINDS DECISION TO END STRIKE
Barely 24 hours after calling off their two week old strike, the University Teachers Association of Ghana have decided to ditch the classrooms and go back on strike. This information was made available to our correspondent by the Association President, Dr Anthony Simmons this evening.
He stated that the decision to go back on strike was because the Government had gone back on the agreement reached between both parties just the day before and this time, they were not returning to the classrooms till they had the right amount owed them in their bank accounts.
Eforts to reach the MInister of Education for a comment proved futile.
